Makes me feel good just looking at it
Does anyone know what those red/orange round objects inside the
grille opening just inside the L&R headlights could be?

That picture was taken at the Texas Canyon rest area on I10 in Az. Son James 111, R2 Lark Clone, were on our way home after picking the cars up at Chuck Naugles. The Lars does have the R2 4 speed in it now. The one on the truck is a 37 President Crusing Sedan. It is tucked away in a pole barn for a future project. The picture with the rainbow was taken at my brother inlaw place , Mericopa,Az. Jim

That picture brings back memories of "Earl" making cross country trips....

Great pics! [] Love to have one of those Stude big rigs... it's finding a suitable storage space that's the show stopper ($$).

Those 4 cylinder Detroits (GM diesels) have a nice smooth sound as my dad had a 4-71 in a 1957 Allis-Chalmers HD-9 dozer. However, the 3-71 that he had in a Michigan A-125 loader sounded terrible as if it was screaming in pain! [:0]

Yea Gary, Chuck would pick me up in South Bend on his way to York. Some of those loads, wow. Chuch hauled the diesel home for me when I bought it. It was a 131 wheel base with a dump bed then. It sure looked wild setting on the back of Earl. They are good memorys now as Chuck tends to stay close to home. I don't give out Chucks ph number, but e-main what you are looking for and I will relay the message. Jim
