    Richard,

Thanks for the picture. Any idea how early in the 2R production run this may be? It appears the first two are 1 ton trucks (with the second being a dual wheel cab and chassis unit). The hood on the fourth truck appears to be a bit higher than the third truck, so it may be a 1 tonner also.

By the way, would the 2R16's and 17's also been on this line or was there a dedicated one for the big trucks?

Thanks Richard... excellent choice for your first pic as well!

BTW I would certainly be interested in seeing some 3E series if you have any pics of them... seems the later C-Cabs were not photographed as much as the early models.

Ever think of putting some sort of publication with all your photo out for the public to purchase?

I agree, great photo Richard! Keep 'em coming!

I also agree, Mark, that you tend to see fewer Studebaker production-line photos as the years went on. I, for one, for purely selfish reasons (!), would love to see some assembly line photos of '63 and '64 cars, or Champ pickups, but I think I've only ever seen one photo of the Champ line, none of the '63 assembly line, and only one of the '64 assembly line, ever.

Cool! Always enjoy old factory photos! One question about it, was that taken at the regular South Bend plant, or at the Chippewa truck plant, "Plant 8"[?]
