  • Happy Studebaker Christmas from the UK

    Hi everyone,
I wish you all the blessings of christmas with your families and friends and a fun filled Studebaker new year.

I dont think Santa left me a 30's Indy car under the tree. I have felt all the pressies and nothing is big enough.

From all of us here in the UK, please remember that the European International meet is being held in the UK in July, so if you can make it over we can scare you all to death driving on the wrong side of the road, and probably fill you up with warm beer and good ol British (and the occasional Ozzie) humor.

    Regards
    Greg

Merry Christmas back to ya Greg,

It's still Christmas Eve here in Oklahoma and we are in the midst of a Blizzard, we have had a foot of snowfall today with 50 to 60 MPH winds and all major highways are shut down.

On vacation in 1984 my wife and I toured Warwick Castle, is that close to where you live. I've got a couple of British policemen from Newcastle that are email friends, as my wife and I met them in Italy while on vacation.

That's an impressive list of Studebaker cars ... Thanks for representing the SDC in the UK.

Mery Christmas Greg from the sunny Okanagan Valley.
It is a beautiful day here on this Christmas Day.
                Sunny but minus 5 degrees.
Snow is on its way, but none yet!

Happy Christmas to you also, Greg. I have a friend in Herts who says it's a white Christmas there. How about in Warwick? Isn't it Warwickshire though? Whatever, a beautiful place, as I recall. Yes, driving on the left side was frightening. Especially an American pickup pulling a goose-neck trailer. It was fun when my employer was napping in the back seat. I'd steer from the bottom of the wheel and snigger as the Brits would stare whilst passing. Loads of fun, really! M1 wasn't too very bad. The side roads though...[:0][:0][:0]
