Wow,
I like it!
The only drawback I see is those little round windows.
Don't ask me why but those make me think "PIMP" mobile.
The body style kinda reminds me of the old GTO "judge"
Wish I had the front bumper off of it to fit onto my 51 fender / 50 center piece combo I'm useing on my 52 2 door hard top.

Looks like a 1950 Champion on steroids. It almost looks cartoonish also. If Superman drove a car back then, this would have been his ride for sure. [8D]

Never seen this one before, They did have the're best sales in 1950, surely they could have afforded to produce this car as a first american sports car. We could have had a Studette to tear up the drag strips with the new V-8.

I like it. I wonder what a more developed design would have looked like after the engineers got through modifying it. Vent windows would have broken the nice line of the door glass and even a different glass for that port hole would change the look. Sure would have been a sporty car if done right.

That reminds me of a circa-1947 Delahaye or similar, the postwar iteration of the French prewar art-deco coachbuilt bodies (look up Delage, Bugatti, Talbot-Lago et al). Also makes me think more than a little of a Kaiser-Darrin roadster...Neat piece.

When I first looked at that picture, it brought to mind a '73 Monte Carlo like this one:



From this angle, the swoop of the tops of the F and R fenders looks similar. Those porthole windows also forshadow the landau roofs of the 70s.
