Just change the date on the old one - it looks great!

I've been busy but have been planning to have a new logo designed. What's everyone's thoughts on that? Just change the date (and photos, maybe?)[?]

Bob certainly did a nice job on the '09 one.

Actually, I did update the logo with the 9/4/2010 date a while back. The updated graphic in color or B&W can be downloaded here:

Looks good to me. If it were up to me, I would put a comma between the 4 and the 2010 in the date.....................

Hey, everybody's cutting back these days. I'm saving on punctuation under the guise of "creative license". So, no comma (or period after the "Sept"). I would have also eliminated the ellipsis but decided enough is enough.

I'm not creative, so I would NEVER have thought of saving those little things. Good job, Mr. Shaw!!

Personally, I like the original artwork with this year's date inserted.
                        Looks good to me.

Just a curiosity question... Why is the DYSD being organised for a Saturday?

Not trying to stir anything up, just curious.

A new IDYSD logo is being designed, one reason is to incorporate the SDC logo. I got a preview a couple days ago, it's gonna be awesome.

It's on Saturday mainly because for most, those are off days from work and people have time to play Studes.

Fair enough. Sunday seems to suit most down here.

Any chance of a preview of the new logo?
