If memory serves me correctly a few of the '57 Packard Dinky's have the base plate of the '57 Presidnet.

Checked the '57 Dinky Packard in the toy collection. The tan & orange one I have is mounted on a Studebaker President base w/number 179.

The other '57 Packard is mounted on the correct Packard base w/number 180. The color of the second one has been changed to reflect the two tone green that was on our'57 Packard Clipper Town Sedan purchased in the fall of '57.

Also have a Dinky '57 Studebaker President w/the correct base w/number 179. This one is light blue with dark blue in panel the rear fenders.

I have a two-tone blue Dinky President on a 179 base (just went down a couple of levels in my home to check). This model/toy was as close as I could come to my first Studebaker, a 1957 President Classic in turquoise and white.

I have a salmon and red coloured 1957 Packard with base 180. Also a lime green coloured 1957 President with 179 base.

          Are these rare?
