Who rebuilds them and what is the cost these days? Can you trust a shop to get you the original disc brake booster back and not a smaller one?

When I had my '64 DB booster rebuilt a number of years ago I had to buy the DB kit and send it with my booster. The rebuilder did not have any kits and did not know where to get them.

Last spring, I had my HydroVac redone completely including replating. The company is called Rebuilders Enterprises out of Bridgewiew Ill, a suburb of Chicago. Phone: 800-489-9860. Cost for the Cad replating and rebuild was about $250. Turn around was 3 to 5 business days (really closer to 10 business days. They also give a 3 year warrenty. Hope this is helpful.
