Frame is all done.

Body is stock, but real, real nice (Alabama car...some surface rust, but no rust through)

Am I getting old? The roofline is bulbous in the back. The taillights are too tall for the rear. I just don't understand the purpose. The only way to "improve" on the 53-54 hardtop is with a slight chop. And lower it a little bit, of course. Oh, and, um, these facts are well documented for the unbelievers...

Sorry, little off topic, but do you guys know what that sway bar is off on the caddy powered suspension? Looks like a simple installation, and reversable as well. I'd like something stiffer for the front of my car, for it corners better. Maybe its just being a 16 year old,LOL!

It looks like the end tabs are parallel with the aframe bracket, but when you put some weight on it, they won't be parallel. That one is mounted upsidedown. I used a 93 camaro bar on mine, rightside up. The hard part is making the lower front of the bracket clear the front pan, but I don't know how close it would be on a Lark.

It's not about "getting old" Buddy, just not your thing. I think I like where it's headed, not so much what it will cost to finish (probably the reason the seller's sellin').

It is probably going to be difficult/expensive to stretch that Daytona body a foot to fit the frame (I guess that you could section the frame.).

There is one thing that bugs me in the world of custom studebakers... I would bet that it wont be stude-powered. Probably a BBC just like every ohter nothin' special race car or cadillac powered. Both GM products. The BBC option does absolutely nothing for me anymore, rare as dirt, too common. The cadillac is a little different and would stand out. I say a good R3 or R4 would give it justice.[}][xx(][V]
