Hello all,just a quick question..

What would your opinion be on the correct running temp of my rebuilt 1936 dictator engine..the man that did the job for me says it should run about 40 lbs oil and 190 temp ...Your thoughts are appreciated very much

Oil pressure estimate sounds fine to me....but the 190 degree engine water temperature sounds too high for an unpressurized 1930's cooling system. My late 1930's Buicks run between 165 and 180 degrees in the summer. John
