Wow! It is a very rare car! This has a 2-speed automatic! The only one of its kind. I guess Studebaker dropped Borg-Warner for 1967 and went to Chevy Powerglides?

Ta...if it has a raised rear bumper, big fat side mouldings, a two-rectangle grille, etc., then it's the trim-study car. Stranger things have happened!
(And yeah, I did notice the "two-speed" ref. The B-W in my humble ol' 62 Lark VI is a three-speed, figured anything later and fancier had to be too; maybe the Cruiser's tranny broke and was replaced with an older GM unit that would, of course, fit behind the 283? Or hey, maybe the vendor figured if he was going to add one to the model year, he'd subtract one from the tranny!)[]
