  • 1950 Windshield

I am currently appraising a 1950 Champion Starlight coupe. It has a one-piece windshield. Every other 1950 Cahampion I have seen had a split windshield. Was a once-piece an optionon the Champion, or could it have been replaced with 1951 windshield? Photos from the 1950 brochure does show a one-piece on some models.

    Thanks

All Starlight coupes and Land Cruisers had one piece windshields regardless of year.

My 50 Starlights also have one piece and they are commanders. To answer the replacement question, you can put a one piece in any 47-52 that has a two piece and vice versa.

I have a bottom of the line 9G-C1 with a one piece and no revel molding. It is a starlight, tho and so has the one piece.

Have YOU actually done that? I'd like to see a picture of it. How much modification was needed?

Also, all years convertibles had one piece.
AND all 51-52s had one piece, regardless of body style.
