          I wonder if that could be the one that was at the international meet in Estes Park back in the 80s? I don't remember much about it except that it was on a Jeep frame.

                I've always thought that a 63 Wagonaire would look just fine on a 4x4 frame - sort of an early SUV! The conversion in the photo seems to be what we often saw in the 80s in rural Ohio - a car body just fastened, frame and all, on top of a 4x4 frame/running gear.

                        I used to have a '63 Wagonaire. I found a set of NOS high-profile snows for next-to-nothin' at a fine old traditional tire shop. It just looked outdoorsy as all get out, and everyone just assumed it was 4WD. It's just crying out to be done.

                        Really liked the look, the handling and the ride. And for a 2WD, the old girl off-roaded good.
