  • MAD alternator wiring kit

WOW! I called Mark Hamilton yesterday. He is MAD Enterprises (http://www.madelectrical.com/), maker of the alternator wiring kit. I would highly recomend to anyone calling Mark to charge up your phone, hook up your headset, go to the bathroom, get a tall drink of water, pen and paper and a comfortable chair. He is an outstanding enthusiastic wealth of automotive electrical knowledge. What a teacher. I called to order the kit and when I was finished I looked at my cell phone. It had been one hour and eleven minutes. The down side is tht it was like trying to get a drink of water from a fire hose. A great guy with lots of good info.

A while back, I called every day for over a month and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I gave up and figured it out myself. Glad to hear he's back.

Mark and I used to work at the same repair shop in Los Angeles about 25 years ago-------------he definitely knows his stuff.

I have used a number of Mark's ideas and kits on my car, both before and after my EFI motor swap. I highly recommend his methods and the kits are top quality materials with excellent instructions. He is very generous with his knowledge with a lot of good info for free on his web page. Spends some time reading there, it worth it for bright lights and and cool wires. I will agree with Bill on preparation for phone calls too, he does like to talk about his theories and ideas.
