Were the water jackets in Los Angles built engines any better with less core sand than say the south bend built engines? Has anyone ever ask this before?

I think we will find, that as the bodies were built in South Bend, so were the engines.

Cars and Engines, ASSEMBLED in L.A. just like the Hamilton, ONT Canada cars, that does not mean that Studebaker could afford multiple MANUFACTURING Plants! [:0]
So that means that ALL Studebakers need serious cleaning of the water jackets, especially after this many years, and especially the Calif. cars which were usually NEVER filled with rust resisting Anti-Freeze after the first cooling system repair!
