Nothing on the forum from Bob since Sept.1. Did I miss something? I miss his "Cool Beans" comment.

Don't know why he isn't posting, but I got an e-mail from him yesterday. He must be lurking, because he sent me an e-mail after I made my first post in a year last month.

Bob is doing just fine. We correspond most every day. He still has great posts, just does them on Sonny's great Racing Studebaker's site:

http://racingstudebakers.com/stl-web/bulletin/bb/index.php?sid=0b08b3c44525ec7a633295f34c19af93

Bob chose to leave this forum. If you drop him a line you can count on an honest answer as to why. However, he's still very active and doing great work elsewhere. Stop over and join in- it's a great forum to add to your daily log-in!

You'll see most of Bob's posts on this page:

Hope you know I was kidding, Clark. How can one NOT notice BP hasn't posted lately? I get emails from him almost every day concerning many things he notices in the world. I'm not sure when he will return, but I hope that it's soon. I can't think of anyone who is more important to us and for always having the correct answer to questions here, not to mention the manner in which he humbly addresses those questions; never condescending, or dismissive. I miss that the most. Please return when you feel comfortable, my friend. :(

Tom,

Can you email me some additional information on how to reverse flip the hood on my Hawk? I would like to know what year and model Datsun the latches are off of. What are the struts off of and do you have any dims on their placement? I am new to the forum so i can't email members until have a certain number of postings.

Thanx,
Jon Kammer jakammer@charter.net

Sure. I will forward you what I have. Unfortunately, I sold the hood
setup to a friend and he moved to another State.:(

I hope the unpleasant incident did not have to do with a battery hold down.

If that doesn't wake him up, nothing will. :D Is it for sale yet?
