Well, in a few hours Matilda my 59 Lark project will be on her way to her new home in Dallas. Thought this would be a good opportunity to do a capsule of the last year on the car start to finish. Might be good for newbies to see. Attached is the link on the work in chronological order.

Yes, it was from Bob. I got it about this time last year. I was not happy to have to sell it either. I'm having rotator cup problems with my right shoulder and shifting/steering the car became pretty rough. I'm glad it went to a good home. The people that bought it aren't SDC members yet. I gave em a couple old Turning Wheels and member directory for their trip home.

Thanks Clayton, as you see she was brought back and is the proud car she once was. I'm just happy I was able to do it for her. The next one will be here in a few days. This one is a keeper. Unless I absolutely can't drive there is no reason to have to get rid of it.

I figured you'd know the car. It will be here within the hour. This weekend, its getting new brake hoses, wheel cylinders rebuilt, and a flush of the brake lines. Later in the week, its heading to the tranny shop for a new flex plate. From what I understand, the car is a good runner. It'll be getting paint and interior soon after i get the mechanical bugs worked out on it.

Whem I saw that car a while back, I commented that it looks like a cute car and fun to drive.
But then, I own a '59 Lark Hardtop that's the same color.
Too bad you had to sell it.
