Got what I am told is an automatic transmission that is built for heavier duty performance out of my 64 Daytona R1 column shift. I know that it is cooled, but what are the the other differences between this Borg-Warner Flight-o-matic and the ones out of the regular V8's? I replaced it with a 700-R4 and plan on selling the flight-o-matic. Had it rebuilt last year and ran great, just made me nuts doing 3000 rpm at 70, the overdrive gets 1700 at 70, dramatic increase in gas milage. The downfall is quickness at midrange speeds. Oh well.
