I am restoring a 51 c- cab truck. The insine the cab, in the engine compartment and fenders are sprayed with under coating. Can anyone tell me if all this was done at the plant of where I need to put the coating and where not?

Thanks,
D.A.

Maybe some of the older folks here can help out. There was (I believe) some good pics of the trucks on the assembly line in a very old TW. It was maybe as long ago as the late 70's but was definately before 85. It even had a caption referencing the undercoating saying you could note where it was and wasnt sprayed. I am about 90% sure the pics I am thinking of were of C-Cab trucks (which gives it about a 50/50 shot). Personally I would undercoat anything that had a chance of ever getting wet but the factory seems to stop short of where I would in most applications. Good Luck,Steve
