  • M5Pickup / John Stine: 1946 M5

This is my 1946 M5 after a frame-off restoration by Westmoreland
Studebaker. I've enjoyed contact with Gary Ash, Fred Cook, Buzz Beckman, Lonnie Dunn, and Bill Cathcart while learning about M5 history and authenticity, and remain grateful for their guidance and support.

John, Matt is thankful for the purchase as it led as you know to his purchase of a 63 R-1 Avanti. He enjoyed the Lark and drove it regularly. Also if you are not you need to join the Studebaker Truck Farmers. It's just a group of us in and informal way celebrating the ownership of Studebaker trucks. Yes, I do have one also. It is a 61 T-Cab short bed. I like your M-5 and it will have a mate in OA very shortly as my brother-in-law just bought one on his sojourn through Yuma AZ last week. Bring it to Lancaster and join us at the 44th International Meet. You'll have a blast and you are within an easy driving distance of it.
