Don't you just love this truck? I believe it was at the Lancaster International Meet. The ironic thing about this picture is that I just used it in our November newsletter that was just mailed out.

Cool truck. This one is interesting in that it has a "sleeper". Probably just a narrow shelf, but most drivers in those days didn't have that.

Two points. 1.) I took that very photo at Ralph Snyders place in the summer of 1999 and 2.) That truck is now for sale.
The photo was run on the front cover of The Antique Studebaker Review for Jan/Feb 2000 that also includes a story on the truck and its restoration. The title of the article was "Mission 'Almost' Impossible." The reason for the title can be seen in the "before" photo below. For details on the price of the truck you can contact Ralph Snyder in Mt Joy, PA. No, he does not have email.
