Mr. Reynolds, Thank you very much for the tremendous contribution you are making for the continuation of the Studebaker name. I am just a plain, little Studebaker owner with only one car which will need very few parts. It has been owned by my family since coming off the production line in 1949, and means a LOT to me. I am so thankful that there will be an on-going supply of parts for my car. I know it takes a lot of work and interest in making this transition, in making the business succeed, and in being able to make a profit so that families have employment, and I thank you.

Good job Ed! I assume you will be using Stude diesel tractors to pull those tractor trailors back and forth?

Thanks Ed, both for posting this, and for having made the effort to save the inventory. Please keep us posted as to the progress of the move.

I wish you the very best of luck in the coming months with this project.

                Ed,
If we all showed up with our Studebakers and put some parts in the trunk, maybe you could do it with only two and a half tractor trailers.[)]
                Could be a grand party.

                THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Without a doubt, the tremendous efforts of Dennis and Ed, their families and employees, have made all the difference for enthusiasts of Studebaker amongst all orphan car manufactures.

There is a lot of love of Studebaker in their work.

It is beyond amazing the supply of parts that is available. I'll wager that a number of treasures will emerge from the move and cataloging of the inventory. There will be a cost involved both on Ed's part and for parts buying customers - but it will be well worth it.

Its really sad that he has to spend nearly $18,000 a month for rent. That takes a big bite out of any profits he may achieve and will certainly add to the price of parts for us purchasers in order to cover this huge expense. Anyone know of a huge empty storage building for cheap??

Ed, I first visited your parts inventory in your garage in Claremont. It now seems that you have a much bigger garage. Best of luck, and thanks to all that have contributed to preserving these parts.

Good news indeed, but I wonder if Ed intends to have both branches indefinitely, or will the SB location close once all the SASCO parts have been cleared? Just that it's expensive to pay $18K rent if not needed.
