Is anyone at Heshey this week , it would be great to see some pictures, I was able to make it last year, with Bill Pressler there are so many great cars for sale, and parts , the "woodstock" of old cars.

I was there all day yesterday and saw many Studebaker people. I'll be there all day tomorrow and will take pictures of all Stude on the Show Field. I have already identified where they are. let me know what you'd like to see and I will do my best to assist you in getting the proper pictures.

I talked with Craig Piper of Westmoreland Restorations there. He has his wife Sue's family '66 Daytona Sport Sedan, fresh, total, absolutely stunning restoration only finished this past Wednesday! It looks and even smells like a brand-new Stude! Very late production too...chromed louvers in back and wide sill plates.

I was there and I took some pictures on Webshots. There was lots of Studebakers for sale. The 54 Commander and the 51 Commander was also there when they were at Carlisle.

Leonard thanks for the pics! Any truth to the rumor that a blue 58 Packard station wagon was at Hershey this year? Do you have any pics of this car?

The 200 or so pictures at the link below start from dropping into the Chocolate field and include random walks through much of the fields (my legs still hurt) a tour through the museum, walking the car corrall and the show on Saturday.

leonard sorry I did not run into you yesterday. Frank total me you were lurking on the fied. I will be posting pictures of the Studebakers I found tomorrow. I did not siee the Lark above but did find a 41 Commander fresh from the resotration shop iwned by my friend Jim and Helen Nice of Harrisburg. It was to be done for Lancaster last year but instead made its debut yesterday on the hershey field. Stay tuned as more to come.

See you in the future as I write about our past

My wife and I were there Thursday. Didn't see a Pkrd Wagon in our visit. Its an incredible event. We could only go the day. Lucky to have walked through one parking lot. There were alot of vendors willing to bargain on the prices this year. Even many of the cars for sale were bargains.

I know there have been many pictures posted here on the hershey field and here are some more with a few facts on each. They can be found at this site:

Here is a picture of an individual I found wandering on the show field looking like a kid lost in a candy shop. Does anyone know him? I did lead him back to his car.

Also here is another one of a guy from AZ trying to give an explanation to an Avanti owner from CA about what he knows about an Avanti. Do you know them?
