Boy, do I ever love '52's! With my daily Studebaker fix I can now make it through the day! Thanks once again.

52 Studes are so sweet, they even can look good with those rims. Super nice job on the grill chrome here. Wonder what's under the hood...?

I love 52s, but I can never get used to seeing older cars with those rubber bands for tires.

Nice looking, and the grille says WOW, never seen a 52 with such a nice grille.
I'm sure thats NOT a CASO grille.

I think the trick is to pick a "theme" and stick with it. For example, Frankenstude looks great (IMHO) with the rubber band tires...

...because the body mods, color, stance, wheels/tires, etc. all go together.

I don't like those wheels either. I DO like the car tho. The first Stude I truly restored was a '52 Champion. It ended up with a nice-looking grille thanks to the fact that all the pieces were available NOS at the time![:0]

It was some years before it dawned on me that the grille treatment for 52 was a hint of what was to come in '53. As superficial as the facelift for '52 was, it's a bit of a mystery why they saw fit to invest what was required to intro a hardtop onto that body that was only gonna be around one year.[B)]
