1954 Starliner. '60's style resto-rod. 1965 Corvette 365 HP 327. Close ratio T-10 4 speed. Stock Stude Suspension, brakes and rear end. Mild dechrome. Slightly lowered. Howdy Ledbetter leather interior on early GM front buckets and stock rear seat. Stock dash and gauges. Early 60's Crestline Mk II aluminum wheels. SOLD fall of 2007 after 10 years and 35,000 miles after completion.

1963 Gran Turismo Hawk. Bone stock. One of 360 '63 Hawks built at Studebaker's Hamilton, Ontario, Canada plant. 289 2 barrel. Wide ratio 4 speed. Champagne Gold. Black vinyl interior with white vinyl inserts. SOLD summer of 2007. Now on display at a GM car dealership's museum in Winnipeg, Canada.





1953 Stude custom. Originally customized for the 1959 Oakland Roadster Show by Lee Talbot. "Restored" for the 2009 Grand National Roadster Show.

If I keep one, I can't do another.

I enjoy finding them, building them, and driving them.

I find I'm bored to tears with the same car for too long.

I've got great memories of every Stude I've ever owned. More great memories to come :D

It's in the passenger compartment, behind the driver's seat, under the package shelf. It's in a marine battery box which is bolted through the floor. The battery box is covered with a custom cover made out of the Mercedes wool carpet.

DAAAAAMN!!.....that ute ROCKS!!!..what a kool machine...[8][8][8] triple 8balls for the pure '50s aura and true historic connection...i'm in LUST[!!!] [:p] with that uberkool mill with offy valve/valley covers, edmunds airfilters and that gorgeous intake [is that offy as well?]...what kind of superkewl lookin' carbs are those?...
man, ya've retained everything period-correct incl. the generator and mega kudos for that... thus this time capsule must be one of the koolest thangs on the road today [8D]....bar none...why can't todays mills be as beautiful as in the olden days??..
