You could get a V-8 in 59 or 60!!! [259]My 60 had a factory 259,4 barrel,dual exhaust-in a 4door!!!

That's right for all models except the two door sedan. It was only available as a 6 (VI). Fred Fox writes that 550 were built with V8 on special order, Canadian and export.
