  • Calling NewEngland Hawk Owners

    Hi,
I have a 57' Golden Hawk which I'm about to completely go thru.

Big project and I could use a little jump start.

Is there a forum member here who lives in the NewEngland area that would good enough to show me there Hawk that's close to mine as I have never been in one?

    Thanks
    Jeff

Hey hello Jeff, where did you get your Hawk from? I have a feeling I know where it came from. If its the one I am thinking of I am glad its gotten a home and a future. I Have a 57 Golden Hawk and live in NH but my car is kinda apart at the moment so don't think it would be much inspiration.

          Ted,
My car came from Mass and a SDC member who recently passed away owned the car for 48 years.

Once the car is road worthy again the my NH tags will sport his name.

            Jeff,
If you want to see a very nicely restored '57 Golden Hawk here in New England contact Gary Sassi of Barre, VT. He's bringing it to Hershey for the "Senior" level judging in the next week or so.

              Thanks Dan,

I looked him up and my car is his twin right down to interior color & the crome accent under the gas cap door!

Does he drive it or just show it?

Also how do I get in contact with him?

                Jeff,
Gary drives the car locally, but trailers it on long trip like to Hershey. I've sent an email with contact info.
