  • Possible or no?

I am looking for the plastic fin that goes in a 50 commander / champion hood ornament.
    C'mon tell me something good.
    Dean.

Possible, yes. Go to a hobby store, buy a big enough block of Lucite and start whittling. It can be polished to match the original. Unfortunately the cost of a mold would make it unprofitable to make a quantity.

Mia Culpa. Not being a Champion sorta guy,I didn't know.

    Glad someone did

The fin for the Champion has been reproduced. Check with Chuck Collins in AZ or Studebaker International.
I bought one a few years ago.

I believe the '50 Commander used a different hood ornament than the Champion. I know the Land Cruiser did.
The Champion plastic is definitely available. SI wants $48. Part #290712.
