Posting photos

I have tried and tried and still can not do it. I am following the sticky but it will not go, someone help!!!![V]

I did create a photobucket account and the Pic is within the 100-200 kb specs

First you have to post your photos on a web site like photobucket.com. The should also be reduced to no larger than 800 pixels by 600 pixels.

Once you have them on photobucket, click on the top URL. It will turn blue. on mine it will copy as soon as you click, but if it doesn't go to EDIT and click on copy. Then go to the forum and click on the yellow block with the mountain on it. This will appear:

Place the curser inbetween the brackets and click paste.

That should work.

I just clicked on the image icon. and when came up, I pasted your picture URL between the img /img bookends, then previewed to see the picture come up, and then posted this reply.

Yes, Stude53 is right. It should look like this except the brackets aren't exactly the same:

It looks like You have copied the img code from photobucket instead ot the URL Link.

The imgs should have brackets around them when you click on the yellow square on the forum tool blocks.
