Hello. If I want to rebuild my motor in my 61 Lark (6 cyl), is it feasable to find a 61 block and use my current cam and crank shaft, and to add new pistons rings etc? (My cylinder head has been already done..long story). Thanks.

    Check this out...eBay 110428649357

It was discussed in a previous thread. Could be just what you are looking for. You could either sell your engine to recoup some of your money...or keep it as a spare.

This is good info, but not sure it answers my original question. I plan to rebuild it myself, using a local machine shop. Just wondering if I can use my cam and crank already set up for my automatic transmission.

If the parts are in good condition you should be able to put them in another block of the same type. As long as bearing clearance are within specs you should be okay.
