  • Looking to purchase 61 single headlight parts

The more complete the better, friends.

61 lark, single buckets, Sasco or Stude Int. neither have everything to complete the SINGLE SET UP

I'm not real concerned with the outer most chrome rings.

    Mainly the LEFT and RIGHT:
    Bucket
    Reflector Bucket
    Lamp RETAINER ring
    Springs
Adjusting screws/and ends they screw into.

Send email if your willing to part/sell anything/or all.
    Thanks in advance.

According to what I can see in the Chassis Catalogue, the basic single headlamp bucket is the same up to '62. I know that there were slight differences between '56 and '62. However, when the bucket fell apart on my '56 Parkview, I took the buckets out of a '62 Champ and they required almost no modification. Also, the Champ's headlamps don't appear to have changed at all, so that one would be able to use them in any single lamp use.

I'm sure that if my information is incorrect, someone will be good enough to correct me.

We had to rebuild the buckets in Petunia's Flight Hawk. The aluminum rivets had disintegrated. Maybe we'll have to redo them again in another 30 years or so!

And here I was thinking you had 30 cars without headlights.

            Wouldn't it be 30 and a half?

Oh, come one Matt, use your common sense! One spare in case a bulb burns out!

OH NO! Wait a minute. That last one is for the car with a turning headlight in the center of the grill. Yeah, that's it.

I had to build my 61 singles from parts lying about the barn. I took some pieces from 1962 dual units and a couple of 64 singles and bought the buckets from sasco.

Unfortunately now I need another set of 64/66 single headlamp units to replace parts I took to build the 1961 single units, Oh well

Wasn't Biggs parting one of those 61's out last week? He may have what you need.
