  • Engine installation day!

    Last Sunday, the R2 went back into my 60 Hawk. Still a ton of work to do, but big chunks of progress are always so inspiring!

          Nice set up 4 speed and all with R-3 headers, you binging in Minden do you know some one there with a 66 green 2 door chevy six and a floor shift? I think his name is peter, I sold him the 66 a few years back, if you know him say hi for me...Bob

                  It's a standard GM color, PPG code WA203C. I wanted something close to Studebaker's Shadowtone red, but a little brighter.

                            I always get nervous when I lift one of those 700+ lbs when using the aluminum intake bolts! I can just see the bolts ripping right out of the intake!
