58 to 64 Hawk Sill Plates

Does anyone know if the reproduction late model Hawk sill plates (plain stainless steel)are curved like the originals or are they straight and have to be bent into place to match the curve of the body?

I got mine from Stephen Allen's, and they fit perfectly, after I ground off one edge on both pieces. They were just a hair too long, but after that, they fit without a problem.
