  • 62 lark rear quarters?

I own a 1962 2 dr lark 6 cyl. I have acquired a set of rear quarters for it. After looking closely I see that there are two holes, one above the other and appx. 4 1/2" apart, in the new set that are not present in the originals still on the car. These two holes are just below and forward of the back up lite openings and above the top of where the bumper would be. The top hole is appx. 1/2" dia. and the lower is 5/8" dia. Anyone have an idea of what these fenders are off of and/or what these holes were used for? Thanks in advance for any info.

They are probably from the filler blocks used on 64-66 cars.

I used a set of those on my 63 convert and they work fine you just have to weld the holes shut. there are no more 62- 63 fenders left at SASCO so this is what they ship. And yes they are 65-66 quarters as was indicated in previous post.
