Is there room to get it in with the hood and core support in place? Looks close. Hope that engine runs as good as it looks.

What a pretty engine! I guess it only follows a pretty engine for a pretty truck.

I'm getting ready to do the same to my Stude truck.

Remove the flathead six, that is.

Its in, gotta run to work will add more.

Yes, hood came off after picture, and engine cleared radiator support.
A sideways rotation, insertion with special handle tilting thing.

            Equalizers are nice

I hope it runs as well as it looks too, I exercised great restraint to keep from cleaning the engine bay to pisteen condition. Afraid once I started I wouldn't stop thus.....never get on the road. [}]

            All nestled in place.

After taking a picture of this engine the other day, there was a thought of. 170 ci or 427 [?] (a huge kidding smile to all )

Don't forget to check and replace bad mounts! [:0]

I just posted that because a while back Kevin was toying with different custom taillights for his Lark. A little neater job might not look bad. Anyway it's just another thought thrown out there...

Sorry about the size of the picture. I just copied it from the eBay listing for the car, and it was much smaller; don't know what happened! If anyone can make it smaller I'll edit the URL.

Hey Kevin, how come you have cardboard under the truck when there is no engine to leak oil? Huh, how come? (really big, funny smiley face )

It's high time to potty train the ol gal, Think of that cardboard as a just incase Potty mat.

Nice work on that engine! Sharp looking truck, too. 170 or 427? The choice is clear if you want pure, tire melting power... 170 LH
