i want to paint some of the sheetmetal inside,i have a set of ditzler paint chips for stude 55 but they do not include any colors or paint # for interior colors, anybody might know some info on this. one is a dark silver metallic and the other is a gold metallic. i can match them to a modern day color chip book but i would like old school if i can thanks

My 55's interior trim is a combination of gray and beige, often referred to as "greige". I haven't found a supplier, yet, so paint chips may be the way to go. Good luck!

You can also have your local paint supplier scan what you have, maybe a glove box door. You'll still only get the closest modern match and, if the match is an exterior color, you'll need to add flattener to the mix; interior colors should not be too shiney. Worked perfectly for the Loma Gray in my '53.
