On my 3 speed Overdrive where is the I.D number so I can verify the year. My car is a 51` but my motor is a 62` 259. thanks

Well; we can't tell you what you have, since it's a home-built car. But I can tell you what it COULD be, and where to look to verify it.
On the back side of the diff. housing, lower right side there is a web between the "pumpkin" and the axle tube. On that there should be a raised # in the casting. It should be a "44", if this '51 is a Commander but could be a "23", or "27" they are all Dana/Spicer tapered axle rear ends, the later are for lightweight low powered cars. The ratio should stamped be on a tin tag under a bolt on the rear cover, usually at about 7 or 8:00 (under left lower bolt).
