Also seen recently (besides the quartet of Ms in the other thread)...

62 Lark Daytona droptop at June Hamilton Chapter meeting

56 GH project seen during July chapter meeting

83 Avanti (OK, not strictly a Stude!) at July meeting

63 Avanti at July meeting

Neat 2R rat rod I hadn't seen before turned up at Peggy Sue's cruise last Sunday evening

At Dutch Mill car show (near Millgrove ON) last Saturday morning...63 Avanti I hadn't previously seen

52 Champion, first seen for sale at M'view in May, still for sale last Sat at Dutch Mill show. Really nice car. Were I drowning in money I'd be after it. (As it happens I may soon have the opposite problem, could find myself out of Studes before long...hoping not.)

And finally we have the 62 Daytona HT rod I've shown on the forum before...but this time the car's clearly ready to audition for those Pixar folks and a place in the cast of "Cars 2"! Also seen at Dutch Mill show.

As always, hope the forum enjoys these...

It took me a good minute from seeing that '62 to realize it was neither of the shiny red '63 droptops owned by Chapter members. This one was new to me. Just when I think I've seen all the local on-the-road Studes, up pops another one...cool.

All that is, is the stock fascia, minus bumper, with bright-metal strakes mounted inside the bottom vent...and it is, indeed, very effective visually. Fred and Gloria's 62 is a nice ride, but I'd never seen the "Cars 2" treatment on it before! What a hoot.

Which 63 Avanti? The white one or the white one? :D

Seriously...if you mean the one with the grey five-spokes, I may see the owner of that one on Sunday during a chapter event, and will ask where the wheels came from. I know they're not standard Avanti, but they certainly do look great on the car...Have also seen a '66 Daytona wearing a similar set and they looked sweet on that car too.

That '62 droptop is one fine looking car. Wish that was parked in my driveway... LH

Those wheels are Motor Wheel Spyders. I have a set on my 63 Wagonaire project.
