                    I think restoring this car could just consist of buying a cheap running 52 sedan, and cutting it off about 4" above the floors. Then sectioning and welding this body to that car, turning it into a drivable "styling prototype". I would cut a driving 4 door up any day to turn this into an operational Studebaker engineering car. This could be done for under $1,500 if you bought the right donor, and this car would get more looks at a show than any nice stock 53 coupe, especially if you could look inside and see the original work that was done!

                            That is what I was thinking. I'm realy surprised nobody has jumped on this.I've seen worse cars brought back to life, plus the history.
