Studebaker Building in Newark, NJ

Back in 1999, Dick Quin posted a picture of a Studebaker Building located in Newark, NJ.



I hunted street by street until I found that building and took these pictures. Yes, that is my "Black Hole", 63R-1877 in front of it.

Thanks, Peter. That is neat. Years ago, pre-Internet, Richard Q. sent me a Studebaker picture of Knight's Garage, Wappingers Falls, NY when they opened their new showroom (1947, I believe). I went and took a picture of the showroom as it then (1990s) existed. I took the picture from the same angle as the Studebaker picture (included standing in the middle of a state highway). I sent my picture to Richard thinking he may want to use it. perhaps in the "Almanac". Shortly after I took the picture, the dealership buildings, showroom and garage, were torn down to make room to build a new Chamber of Commerce building. I have never forgiven them &lt;G&gt;.
