I have not been here for quite a while....difficult year radiation treatments etc for my wife.

Does anyone in the Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Waco are have running champion flathead six they would sell cheap? Just want to get my little 2 door on the road again.

    Thanks,

Jim there is lot of differences in the Champion 6 flathead Engines between 1947 and 1958, mostly oil pan & pump, clutch housing and rear plate, engine mounts, fuel pump etc.

What year is your 2 Dr.?

I have a 56 that needs total rebuild but it is complete except for air cleaner. I live in Houston. I checked the numbers a while back for someone and it is a 1956.

Check this thread. Alphues collects all the craigslist listings across the country. This is a thread for July for Studebaker parts. There were Champion engines listed. Check for further details.
