The seats that Anne Goodman was so generous in giving to me from a 1960 four door. Unfortunatly don't fit my 1959 2 door wagon. They are fairly good seats. (see pictures in previous thread), And deffinatly worth saving. If cleaned up they could possably be used as is.

If anyone wants them i'll give you the same deal Anne did for me. Come and get them. If you need more pictures e-mail me and i'll send them to you.

That seems odd, because those ARE '59-'60 Lark Station Wagon rear seats and they are all the same wheelbase (113 in.) so the wheelwell they fit over should be in the same place on a 2 Dr. or 4dr., I don't get it! What does not fit? [:0]

Maybe there's something i'm not seeing, but i spent two hours trying to get them to work and it just did't come together. Got a picture?

Well i spent another hour wrestling with the seats and it still does not compute. I thnk the seat back is close but i don't have the hinge brakets that it swivels/mounts too.

The bottom seat has a bracket on each side that should bolt to the floor. So the seat can swivel forward and the back swivel down so it can rest on the tunnel bracket flat. These swivel brackets have three mount holes in them and there is no mounting holes in the floor for them.

As i've said before i'm not lark familar, and i don't have any books on this wagon since i was just going to get them in Iowa. So i'm just going by what i think about what and how it should work.

I don't know, G.D. I managed to take the rear seat OUT of Karl when we had him....maybe I can help you put this one IN? Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you this week. Do you have any pictures of your trials and tribulations? Preferably embarrassing ones? ;) -Tracy

Well i have that picture with Sventlina and that russian studebaker, but i don't think it would be good for here even though it was a tribulation.

After cleaning all the gunk (you know that black tar stuff)off the floor, and talking to Stude Rich. It appears that there is a piece missing he said a box) that is supposed on the floor.

As far as the helping goes, you could always leave the domestics to John for the holiday, it's a little cramped for this ol chunky monkey to be crawling around that floor. I'd reward you with mango salsa, your own personal STF badge and merlot. After all i only have 10 more days of Midging before it's Ceder Rapids and then beach time.

Thanks, Dave! I appreciate you posting the pictures and saving me from having to care for two small children, two not-so-small dogs, and the rest of the crazy household while Tracy rushed off to play Hi-Ho Silver! to my dad and his new girl/wagon, "Midge." :D -John
P.S. See you in Cedar Rapids!

Mystery solved, Stude Rich told me what i was missing and you,ve given me a picture of it. Besides about twenty parts, i am missing the entire seat box assembly that the lower seat swivel/hinge attaches too. Egads may be better to turn it into a sedan delivery.

Seat has nothing to do with it, there is still 12 sqaure feet of floor left to clean. Equation she fits, i don't. Practice you domestics and let the little lady come on down. Be sure she brings a hat sanding the inside of that roof gets messy. POR15 arrives monday, times a wasting.
