    They are on the back of a Hawk used to hold the screws that hold the tail light assemlys on the car. Anyone know a part number and a source for them?

    PS this is the last thing that I need and I have gathered all the parts to fix the GoldenHawk again.

    I hope you find them, I needed them for mine.

    I'm not sure how much of a stickler for accuracy you are but I made mine from some bent cold rolled with a nut welded to it. Just a thought if they are made of unobtainium.

    By the way, I continue to enjoy your posts on the Golden Hawk.

      How long are they? I have seen 2 sizes of these. At least on a '53 the ones on the taillamps are different from similar ones used on the front fender aprons to attach to the firewall.

        I can't really tell by the pics but I think I have them.
        Can you post a closer pic or better yet email a couple direct that have not been reduced?
        Please include measurements and what size bolt screwes into them.
        How many do you need?

          Ann,I picked up a handfull of these at SASCO. They are about 1&3/8 inches long? PM me with your address and I will mail them -I believe you will need 4,correct?
