Parts Store issue:Distributor.

I want to my local parts store and they has 3 numbers for a 1961 distributor cap. Which one is correct?

Depends on the car/engine you have, but ultimately the correct cap is the one that matches your distributor. '61 V8 Larks used the Delco 'window' distributor. '61 V8 Hawks used the older Delco style cap without the window. Six cylinder cars used a different cap also.

Also remember that V8 distributors (and engines!) are easy to swap, so you may also have a '62-'64 Prestolite distributor which uses yet another cap.

Like Mike said, take the cap with you and give them an idea what type of engine/distributor you have.
