  • Who will be 1,000,000th Forum visitor?

If you notice when you log on to the home page, it says down on the bottom right: Welcome. You are visitor number XXX,XXX. When I logged on I was number 994,062. Who will be 1,000,000[?] Will there be a prize? Who cares Now that I've pointed it out, I know some of you will try... But who can verify it? Once you've logged on it doesn't show anymore. Suppose Bob Shaw could track it.

I only see the visitor number on the SDC web site not the forum web site. So anybody that visits the SDC web site will cycle the number not just Forum members or Forum visitor.

Looks like it may happen Sunday or Monday. Probably, with my luck, on Monday while I'm doing Monday Night Chat so it won't be me.

          Just do a "screen grab."
(No, not the kind you do when 'eye candy' is posted)
On a PC, just press the "Screen Grab" key next to F12.
          On a Mac, press Command-shift-3.

Post and revel in your "133T" status.
I think Dick donated the DartKart as the prize.[)]

M15 Trucker is correct. The home page stat is just that...the number of visitors to that page.

We've never tracked "hits" per se on the forum itself. I'm pretty confident in saying that the number of visits to the forum probably exceeded a million a long time ago.

To tell the truth, I've never noticed that number. I guess I'll just have to get along without it.

Didn't change anything, still have to go to work in the morning and can only fit 1 Studebaker & 1 Packard in my garage.

OH NO! There was a prize wherein you were to have a third bay added to your garage at no expense to you![^] Start shopping for a third Stude.[]

A 3rd bay added to my garage in New Jersey. I'll have to give up eating food just to pay the property tax increase.
