  • Well THAT was cool!

Went to a nice show this weekend. About 300 or so cars in the beautiful little resort town of Joseph in the mountains of Northeast Oregon. I rolled in Friday afternoon when a car that was pulling out stopped and the driver started waving to me to pull over. I immediately recognized Dennis Gage of "My Classic Car" TV. He jumped out and started asking me about the convertible. He REALLY liked it-just went on and on about how cool it was. To make a long story short, he picked it for an an interview during the show the next day and it will be on an episode of the show next year. How cool is that?

    Awsome Steve!
Dennis is a Stude fan and seeing your car would make anyone want to do the same.
Great car and great exposure for Studebaker's!
We will look forward to seeing you and the car on his show as much as we did person last weekend.

Congratulations, Steve. That's super-good exposure, and your car is certainly worthy of all the attention.

Good for you and your very nice car. Dennis probably spotted the lower body trim like he has on his Gran Turismo.

TOO COOL![8D] Stunning car. It and Dick's Ute should be photo'd together. Toss in Sheba, Dick's S2D and a nice stocker and you'd have one wild lineup![]

He did make note of the GT rocker mouldings and tailpipe tips. I'm not positive, but it sounded like he no longer has the GT...he said something about the GT in a past tense. He's apparently in the market as he made me promise to let him know if I ever wanted to sell the convertible.
