I have a 62 Champ with 259 v8 and auto trans. Will a Stude floor shift work in this truck? Or do I have to go after a after market one?

It probably won't be a direct bolt on because the Champ body sits 'up' on a truck frame. (although if I had one I bet it would be worth a look even though the gear indicators are in the wrong place. ) If you have a bench seat, it is harder yet.

You have: PNDLR the power shift dial reads: PNRD21

I had a Powershift tranny and shifter in my '64 Champ pickup. I mounted the shifter assemby directly on the floor (no Lark tower) and it worked fine. Regarding the incorrect shift pattern, it probably wouldn't be too hard to make your own indicator. The detents aren't a problem because they are determined by the tranny, not the shifter.
