  • How many times can you find MY last name?

So as not to hi-jack the threads about Dick's awesome lil' cart hauler- I thought I'd start this thread. I'm sure it will live a short life.

While reading Dad's June issue of TW I found these neat little tid-bits~
    • My last name is in there three times~ Can you find them all [?]
    • Matt can still write darn good stories.
    • Art can still write very FUNNY stories!!!
    • I need to visit Chile again...

I'm sure I'll find more to talk about, but Dad just got his hands on it!!! [:0]
My own issue will be here soon, I'm sure...

A story of sorts may follow soon- I'm still getting used to the fact that I actually did it, trying to get settled, and into a 'routine' of some sort. Everything is different now. [B)]

I also have a 'place' of my own to get set up. It's only 1600 square feet or so. [:0]
Sweet Pea is already there~ the rest of my girls are gonna LOVE it!!!

Hmm...Since my last name is "Hood" I have never even TRIED counting how many times it would show up in an auto-based magazine (or a fashion/clothing magazine) I would probably have the most by far!

It was a bit funny...when I met my wife I told her I was a car guy...so much so that my name is a car part!

She laughes now that she married me, too, because she used to joke around with some of her friends (Last names "Boots" and...and...oh shoot, now I cannot remember, but it was another form of clothing. They used to tell her in order to fit in with the crowd, she would have to find a guy with a piece of clothing for a last name...Well, here I am!

Another funny note with that name... Back in the eighties, my little brother used to think that the internal "Hood" latch on our chevys were always ordered special by our dad, so our name would be on in the car!

1963 Lark, 259 V8, two-tone paint, Twin Traction. Now that the salt is off the roads, she is getting back into regular rotation!

My TW arrived today and for the first time ever
it was bent spindled and mutilated.
Didnt matter as I read it from torn front cover to missing rear cover.

Funny how far off topic these posts can get isn't it? [:0] So much that the original thought is lost and forgotten!

I am sure most of us do not do that deliberately, it just happens! [V]

I read the post and besides the business about a last name
there was more about Turning Wheels and articles within.
The thread could have gone off topic and been about Chile at which
point I'm sure someone would have posted the thread should be in
                        Stovehuggers.
I didnt count the number of times anyones name was mentioned,I just
                        enjoyed reading my Turning Wheels.
