Truck REGISTERS

Friends: After a lot of procrastination and fooling around, I have completed the first draft of the STUDEBAKER DIESEL TRUCK REGISTER. There are 23 diesels listed, about 3.2% of total production. I have had assistance from a number of owners. The REGISTER will be posted to anyone wanting an e-mailed copy, contact M16-52@comcast.net.

I always welcome any unreported trucks in these classifications. It is my intention to develop a STUDEBAKER FIRE TRUCK REGISTER one of these days. I am open for any fire truck information as long as it is sitting on a Studebaker chassis. Thanks.

That looks like Tom Karkawicks fire truck, 7000 miles, used to be the Studebaker Plants fire truck. They had to have their own fire dept. I think Tom said they had about a dozen full time firemen and this truck, or one similar.

It looks alot like his if its not in fact his.
