  • Can anyone ID eng JTS 1663 ? What car and year?

I'm trying to ID what car this engine may have come out of. It has a power shift trans on it. It appears to have the SC water manifold and all the pulleys, but has an AC compressor in place of the SC. I know it would be a Lark or Hawk, but I'm wondering if someone has the specific year make and model. Thanks

Sal, you are a lucky dog. Have fun with new motor. I hesitated.

Good score if you got it Nate! [] It would have to be a '63 because it is not Date coded, I don't have Bob Palma's list of JT Cars to find the car Serial.

That JT '63 Lark/Hawk Engine may have been in an Avanti, because they have the deep water manifold that mounts a Supercharger or a A/C Unit and come with all the pulleys for either. [^]

JTYS1663 sure sounds familiar, we must have discussed it before.

Thanks Anne. I was just curious. I don't know what I'm gonna do with it yet, but we'll see how it goes.
