I am trying to decide if the horn button in the aug 08 TW part #682756 (page 34) for a 49 2r truck is the same one SI is selling on page 81. They say theirs is tan back ground. There is a note in the TW write up that says a change being made sometime late in the year. Does someone know if they are the same?? Thanks

The 1st R series horn buttons were the same as the late M series trucks the tan button is late and '50 button. This is a '50 button, most likely the one your mentioning.

Bob,
That lovely horn button is attached to an obviously lovely steering wheel. Shouldn't it be attached to a lovely steering column, rather than nesting on lovely brocade?[}][)]
